This is a review of the 2010 DD Travel Hammock.

It Now comes with 2 zips (one either side of mosquito net) allowing quick entry / exit either side of the hammock and also allows you to tie the mosquito net up above you, out of the way, when not needed.

As before, this hammock has fine mosquito netting which keeps out all insects (including the dreaded British midge). Entry is via one of two side zips each with two double-sided zippers.

Features include two waterproof base layers so if needed (no trees) it can be set up on the ground as a basic bivi/tent, see pictures. The hammock also features two small internal pockets which are great for storing a torch, phone etc as well as three velcro patches between the two layers to help keep a thermarest/pad in place if cold weather camping. Now comes with an extra 2m elastic cord to create a ridge line inside the hammock to hold lightweight gear such as glasses etc.

You also have the option to lie out in the open (without mosi net) – simply tie the hammock up with the mosi net underneath the hammock.

With the waterproof floor this hammock can be used anywhere and along with our Tarp is the ultimate lightweight camping system!

hey i am wanting to buy a Steelcraft Cruiser Travel System for my second child love everything about it all the reviews are really good but my question is can you get the stands so your other child can stand on it as you walk with ur pram?

Firstly you are not going to get as many answers as you could because most Aussie mums are using Yahoo! Australia with the filter for Aussie questions only turned on- you’ve asked on Yahoo! America.

Second- I like the cruiser stroller- the car seat on the other hand I do NOT like as it has a LOW weight limit and you may find your child has outgrown it by three months or so. I would recommend getting a car seat that has a rearfacing capacity of at LEAST 12 kg- the cruiser car seat only goes to 9kg.

If you want to get a stand for an older child to stand on, the Valco Hitch hiker attaches to the cruiser, although if your older child is on the taller side it makes it hard for the parent to push it. I personally prefer a Swiss Strolli Rider or a Buggy Pod, which fit MOST strollers and have the older child either beside the parent or beside the main part of the stroller.

If you want a travel system with a good car seat, get the Hipod one (Available from Target) or a safety first one (from GOOD baby stores) ALL the steelcraft ones only go to 9kg, so I would NOT recommend ANY steel craft travel system, the strollers and prams are amongst the best avaliable in Australia but I wouldn’t touch their car seats with a barge pole!

First of all, let’s start off by letting you know what a Full Metal Jackrabbit Tonneau Cover is exactly. Not everyone knows, there are a lot of people who are not familiar with this truck bed cover. This is a retractable tonneau cover also known as a roll top tonneau cover. The cover has tracks that go on each side of your pickup truck bed for the cover to travel in. It has a canister that goes at the front of your pickup box below your cabs rear window. The canister is the part of the retractable system which the tonneau cover itself retracts in and out of. This basically is how the retractable or roll top cover is designed. Different covers have some different features. I will now describe the Full Metal Jackrabbit and let you know about some of it’s features.

Pace Edwards say that their Full Metal Jackrabbit Tonneau Cover is designed and manufactured for an exact fit on each make, model and year pickup truck that they produce the cover for. They say that the design of the cover has a cleaner, sleeker look than traditional roll-up tonneau covers. Of course as with all other tonneau covers there is less wind resistance at the tailgate, improving gas mileage. The Full Metal Jackrabbit tonneau cover is constructed of all metal which is powder coated and the aluminum panels are linked together with hinges that do not collect debri. This lid rides flush along your truck,s bed rails that gives it a nice low-profile sleek look. The continuous tension spring allows smooth operation with less pulling force when closing. This cover has a “Latch ‘n Lok” system that enables you to bolt the cover at the tailgate or every 12 inches along the track of the tonneau. The canister is made of ABS making it lightweight, rustproof and dent proof.

This covers requires no drilling to install. You install it with clamps. The tonneau is made in the USA and backed by a 3 year warranty.

Some of the advantages of this tonneau cover would be the fuel savings by allowing the wind to pass over your tailgate rather than smacking into it causing a drag and an increase in gas consumption. The cover also protects your cargo from the high winds caused by driving and protects your cargo from the weather. It deters thieves with it’s locking system as well as keeping your cargo out of sight, out of mind. It adds a great look to your pickup truck. And I have to mention the 3 year warranty which is a real plus compared other retractable tonneau covers. Another great advantage that comes to mind is being able to get at your truck bed quickly and easily, not by just lifting the cover up but by retracting ahead, completely out your way. Some of the disadvantages that I got from customer reviews would be maybe a slight sag in the cover. Instructions that are with it may be a little vague but can be managed with a little common sense. The price tag is a little high.

All in all the Full Metal Jackrabbit Tonneau Cover is a very nice looking retractable truck bed cover. I think this cover will protect your cargo as well as any roll top pickup covers and better than most. I hope this little article will help you decide if this tonneau cover is for you.

But I have a question…Will it fit in my mustang trunk? It’s a 2010 Mustang GT.
Its doesn’t have a very big trunk.

The Evenflo Aura is the travel system I used for my son. I’m 6′2 and it was one of the only ones that had excellent reviews (I did a lot of research bc this was something we would be purchasing ourselves and not receiving as a gift and it was a pretty pricey buy) and was tall enough for me to push without having to bend over or hunch my back.
That being said, it does fold down flat, but I’m not sure if it would fit. I suggest you measure your trunk and then take a trip to Babies R Us or Toys R Us and physically roll it around and test it out and collapse it and see if it’s going to work for you.
I loved my Aura, it maneuvered a lot easier than the Graco’s and wasn’t as bulky.
To find one that’s right for you, go try them out in the store, that’s what the stroller displays are for =)
